I had my nail appointment the other day. As always my girl did an amazing job! I went with black and silver glitter. I was feeling kinda dark and I love black polish, black glitter, just black. I think black nails are so fun and pretty hot. Any color goes amazingly well with black.
I went with silver because the silver loose glitter, Amy uses is one of my favorites! She added in some chunky glitter pieces to the mix and I was more in love. Hello! You can never have too much glitter. Ever.
So Bath & Body Works recently came out with a new body care collection called Tutti Dolci. I first heard about this a few weeks ago and was patiently – not so patiently, waiting for it to hit my stores.
Right off the bat I was attracted to the colorful packaging. (We know I’m a sucker for cute packaging) Upon learning what the fragrances were going to be in this collection, I was sold. The scents are : White Mocha Kiss, Sweet Lemon Buttercup, Pink Peony Cream, and Golden Honey Praline. All of those scents (excluding Pink Peony Cream at the time, sounded amazing!) I knew this was going to be a collection I was definitely going to try! Continue reading
Bath & Body Works Sweet Cherry Pie is a candle I know many people love. I’ve seen the comments on Instagram about people stocking up on this candle. It was a candle I heard about a while ago before it was being released. I heard many people were anxiously awaiting this candle.
Me? Well you know I’m not big on B&BW candles after the holiday/ winter candles disappear. I don’t buy many spring or summer B&BW candles because none of them interest me. I’m not into summer scents really. I hate floral notes. I do like fruity notes, however, I feel Bath & Body Works falls short in comparison (to their fall and winter candles) when it comes to their spring and summer collection. It’s just not my thing.
Now, if we’re talking about gourmand, bakery, delicious, sweet smelling candles that they happen to come out with… well, then you’ve got my attention… and most likely my money. Continue reading
I’ve kind of been giving my wallet a slight break from buying tons of makeup products. I’ve picked up a couple of things here and there. Made some repurchases, etc. I just haven’t really seen anything (makeup related) that I just have to have.
Kylie’s Valentine’s Day collection was sorta disappointing, to me, at least. Nothing jumped out that I wanted to add to my collection. It’s kinda been the same thing with other makeup companies as well. I haven’t had many items catch my eye lately… who knows, maybe with some new spring collections I’ll see something I just NEED! I miss the excitement and the anticipation of waiting for new products to release that I’m impatiently waiting for. You guys know what I’m talking about. Continue reading
I wanted to try Tarte’s Quick Dry Matte Lip paint since I heard these were possibly reformulated and true matte liquid lipsticks. Not too long ago I reviewed the Tarteist Creamy Matte lip paint. If you’re interested, you can read it here : Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint
I will tell you that not too many colors jumped out at me. I felt I didn’t need a lot of these shades. I was, however, most interested in Salty and Pillowtalk. Those are the two I picked up. I saw swatches online before I went in to buy them and they were colors that I needed. You all know how that goes. In store, they swatched nicely and I was pretty excited to get them home to test them out on my lips. Continue reading
Happy February 1st, everyone! Time is just moving right along. It’s so crazy to me that we’re once again starting off another new month.
January was a month where I didn’t try out too many new items (beauty wise or other) and I didn’t end up having too many favorites, sadly. I don’t know what it was, it was just a month of eh… nothing super amazing caught my eye or really WOW’D me. However, the items I have included in my favorites for January are all ones I have been loving and using on a daily basis. I do wish I had more to include for you guys, but hopefully you’ll like what I have included. Continue reading
Candles By Victoria is a company I’ve been ordering from for a couple of years now. I think I first found them from someone in a candle group, who mentioned how much they loved their candles and wax.
I was instantly drawn to them once I saw their dessert candles! I’m a huge bakery and foodie type scent lover. For a while I was really addicted to realistic dessert candles. I couldn’t find many companies who specialized in those type candles, until I found CBV. Continue reading
