If you can only get one palette this year, or having trouble deciding if you should get this palette… GET IT and get it NOW! The Master Palette by Mario is the palette created by the super talented celebrity makeup artist (most known for being Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist) Mario Dedivanovic. This palette is limited edition so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. It retails at Sephora for $45 for twelve gorgeous shades. There was so much talk about this palette before it was ever released and I knew once I saw it, it was a done deal. The colors screamed my name. I ordered mine the night Anastasia Beverly Hills released it. It was a quick process, no site crashing, no freaking out that it was going to sell out instantly- (okay, there was minor freaking out) delivery was pretty quick as well. I think it shipped the next day or day after and I had it two days after receiving my shipping notification.
*Sigh* can we all just take a moment to appreciate these colors? Have you ever seen anything more beautiful? The quality with this palette is the same as past Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes. The shadows are so buttery and pigmented and blend so well. Because these shadows are so buttery and pigmented you will find some fall out (that doesn’t bother me as most of my palettes tend to have some fall out, just tap your brush before applying & use a good primer and you should be fine) I find myself using this palette pretty much every day (as well as my Lorac Mega Pro 3) and I’ve considered picking up another palette as a back up since this is a limited edition and I’ve been using it all the time. I’d recommend this palette for anyone that likes bronzy neutral and jewel toned shades.
The colors include:
Hollywood- Metallic Light gold in a satin finish
NYC- Chocolate brown satin finish
Kim- Tan satin finish
Muse- Rose Gold satin finish
Marina- Champagne metallic finish
Claudia- Dark navy velvet finish
Lula- Taupe matte finish
Isabel- Burnt orange matte finish
Violeta- Dark chocolate brown matte finish
5th Ave- Gold metallic finish
Bronx- Metallic olive satin finish
Paris- Medium brown satin finishIn my opinion this palette really lives up to the hype. A lot of times, especially with social media and celebrities or big Youtubers pushing a product.. everyone will flock to it and make it a “must have” sometimes, you end up disappointed with the quality of the product or it just isn’t as fabulous in person as it appeared to be online. This is not the case and I’m very pleased with that. Anastasia Beverly Hills is a good brand I trust and so far I’ve been satisfied with all their products I’ve purchased. Amazing quality for the price you’re paying.
If you’re on the fence with trying to decide to buy this palette, pop into Sephora and swatch them for yourself. I think this palette would work great for all skin tones, which is another plus. This palette would make a great gift for yourself or others, plus it’s really easy to travel with as it’s so compact. It’s just a fantastic purchase overall.
Have you picked up this palette? What are your thoughts on it? Do you have any favorite shades? Let me know!
