On Saturday, Bath & Body Works had their annual $8.50 candle sale on 3 wick candles. If you’re as obsessed with their candles, like I am, this is the sale you most look forward to. These candles typically retail at $22.50 (though I never purchase them at full price) the sale is such a good one, it’s hard to pass up. Realistically, I probably should pass it up. I have a ton of candles and don’t need anymore… but I burn candles daily so I go through them fairly quickly. It’s not like I have a room full of candles that go unburned and I’m just hoarding them all. That’s what I tell myself anyway, to justify buying more. Same goes with makeup. 🙂 It could be worse, right?
White Barn Candle Company decorated pretty for the holidays.
I went to White Barn (for those that might not know, White Barn is an extension of Bath & Body Works. They make a lot of their candles and it’s a store of wall to wall Bath & Body Works/ White Barn candles & fragrances.) Personally, I like shopping at White Barn for the candles over my normal B&BW stores. The atmosphere is nicer. The lighting is dimmer, darker than your typical B&BW stores. I just find the store more appealing and it has a more classier feel to it.
From my experience in past years I knew the stores would be crazy with this $8.50 candle sale so I decided to go early. I went to White Barn right as they opened. No one was there so it was pretty easy. In and out. Honestly I had no idea what I was going to buy. Usually I try and make some kind of list or mental note, however this year I just kinda winged it. I know the scents I like so I pretty much picked up a couple more backups. There were a couple of candles I wanted, Winter Rose, & Frosted Cupcake but I didn’t see them. I’m not sure if my store just didn’t have them, or if in my anxiety filled rush to grab what I wanted before tons of people came charging in, I overlooked them. Either way I’m kinda bummed about that. I’ll probably try and grab them once candles are on sale again.
I got 12 candles total and used a $10 off $30 coupon for each order. I stopped myself at 12 candles – (though I wanted to pick up maybe 4 or 5 more) it was like candle heaven and with such a great deal, how could you not go a little crazy? We all know I’ll be back in store purchasing more in no time… especially with SAS (Semi Annual Sale) right around the corner.
Candle goodies!!
Every candle I purchased is one I already love, except for Snowflakes & Citrus. I’ve never tried that one before, it smelled really nice, so we’ll see how it goes. I LOVE the label on Marshmallow Fireside! It looks so cozy and nice. I wish the wax was white like in past years, I’m not a fan of the gray wax. Never have been. That’s just me though, the candle still smells fantastic no matter the wax color.

I hear ya! It’s so hard not to buy! I’m the same, but I burn them daily so I’m always going through my stash. I usually stop buying so much after Feb. I’m only really into the fall & winter scents. I don’t like florals or spring candles, unless they’re food/ bakery scents.

Bath and body works candles are my favorite! I stockpile them too! So I don’t have to fear every running out!!!

These candles are my life! I have one burning pretty much every day! Limoncello and Sweater Weather are my absolute favorites! 😍 I GO a little too crazy when they have such an amazing sale.

I always tell myself I’m not going to go crazy… then I get in there and see all the candles I love. I like to stock up because I really only like their fall & winter scents, so my buying slows down a lot during the warmer months. Glad you were able to grab a few things! 😊

I love a good candle particular those by DW Home but, I did receive a ” Eucalyptus Tea” bath and body works candle for the holidays and it smells delightful. So we shall see.

I’ve heard good things about the DW Homes candles. I haven’t had a chance to try one yet. I’ve never tried the Eucalyptus Tea from B&BW. Hope you enjoy it!!
