It’s My Birthday & Too Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Palette First Impressions

IMG_0583Today is my Birthday!! Seems kinda crazy because I feel like it was JUST my birthday not that long ago. Agh! The years need to slow down! At this point, I sound like a broken record. It’s true, though. I wish time would slow down. My birthday plans include getting my hair done at the salon with my favorite girl… and probably going to dinner with my husband later on. Old people stuff.

The good thing about my birthday is all the free little gifts I get from different reward programs. Free gifts from Sephora & Ulta, free drink from Starbucks, frozen yogurt from Pinkberry. Who doesn’t love free goodies, especially from their favorite places? 🙂

Winky Lux Flower Bomb Jelly Lip Stain Review

IMG_0520If any of you guys follow me over on my Instagram, you’ve already seen my mini review of this product. I received this product complimentary from Octoly and Winky Lux for my honest review.

I realized I never made a post for my blog, for those who may not follow me on Instagram to read and see what my thoughts are. Or just shed some light on this brand and their products, for those interested.

This was a product I saw all over Instagram and really wanted to try out. I think the packaging and overall look of these lip stains are really pretty. It’s what caught my attention at first. It’s very girly and packaged really well.  Continue reading

March (Birthday) Nails

IMG_0361My birthday is on March 30th. Usually, Amy and I do something fun for my birthday nails. One year was Hello Kitty, one year was the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland, one year was just some lovely colorful design.

I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do this year for my birthday nails. At first I wasn’t going to do anything, if I’m being honest. Just some glitter and call it a day. I’ve just been in a weird space for a bit and didn’t have the energy or desire, I guess, to want or really do anything. Eh, but that’s neither here nor there. Eventually I decided on unicorn/ My Little Pony nails. Throwback to my childhood! What 80’s kid didn’t love My Little Pony growing up? I mean, who doesn’t love unicorns?? Continue reading

Sonoma Candle Review

IMG_0382Typically, when I buy candles I mainly stick to Bath & Body Works, Yankee Candle, Candles By Victoria, an occasional candle from Goose Creek . I actually haven’t really ventured out much when it comes to candles. I have my favorite companies and tend to stick with them.

So it should be no surprise that I’ve never tried Sonoma candles before. I don’t usually shop at Kohl’s (that’s where I picked these up. I’m unsure if they sell them at other stores or if it’s strictly limited to Kohl’s only.)

What caught my eye with these candles was the packaging. I really was drawn to the labels and the wax colors, (peach and pink for the Peach Gelato and Pink Velvet Cupcake) We all know I’m a sucker for packaging! I also really loved the names. Cake Pop, Peach Gelato, Pink Velvet Cupcake. I love sweet scents (as you know) so these were very intriguing.

Anastasia Beverly Hills & Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit Palette Swatches & Mini Review

img_9983I got this palette on Sunday. I had heard that a lot of Sephora’s were selling them early (even though it was set to release in stores on March 3 or 4th) I called one of my Sephora stores just to ask. The girl said she had them and put one aside for me and off I went to snatch this pretty up!

Ahh! I am in heaven! I’ve wanted this palette since I first saw the colors. Stunning. Just stunning. I’m not sure why these palettes were in Sephora so early, but I am not complaining. I was ready to order it online… which I didn’t really want to because… that little thing called waiting. I’m so happy I was able to get my hands on this earlier! Continue reading
