Every time I do one of these posts, I always feel like I’m leaving something out. I most likely am forgetting some things that I’ve been loving. That’s just how it goes with me… Anyway, can’t believe it’s already another new month – and November at that! Hello, holidays that are lurking around the corner. I also can’t believe how long it’s been since I did a monthly favorites post. My bad.
Kicking off my favorites….
Anastasia Beverly Hills – Subculture & Prism palettes – To be fair, I just recently started using Prism… I may have even used it in the month of November for the first time. (I can’t remember… so technically it shouldn’t be a favorite for October… but I’ll let it slide if you do. 😉
Subculture is my ish right now! I have been reaching for that palette a lot lately. (I have a review on it if you’re interested. It’s the previous post.) Prism is a good one too! I dunno… I may like Subculture more. Depends on what day you ask me. Bottom line : They’re both damn good palettes, in my opinion & I love them.
Slmissglam Limited Edition Baby Blue Brush Book – This is Steph’s newest (and limited edition) brush book. I was so so excited to receive this… what a beauty! I love the colors baby blue and pink… together they’re even better!
Steph’s brushes are so glam and girly! It kills me to use them and make them dirty because they’re THAT pretty! I don’t think I own prettier brushes. I’m not sure if this Brush Book is still available as they were selling FAST, but you can purchase other amazing and gorgeous brushes and Glam Brush Books on Stephanie’s site : Slmissglam the CUTEST brushes you’ll own *I checked and these are all sold out.* 😦 Check out her other brushes, though… you won’t be disappointed. 🙂
Huda Beauty Summer Solstice palette & YSL All Hours Concealer : I did a review on the Huda palette and it is still just as amazing. The YSL All Hours Concealer is amazing also. I find it doesn’t crease and it lasts me all day! It hides my dark circles and I just find it to work perfect, for me.
Bath & Body Works Rose Water Body Milk Lotion – So, I picked this up as a free gift that came with a B&BW coupon. (Literally had to go to three different stores as only, apparently, certain stores at the time carried it) It smells so nice… like roses. My husband thinks it smells like an old lady, but what does he know? I don’t even think he likes the smell of roses. The scent isn’t too overpowering, either. It’s subtle. I use it for my hands to keep them moisturized so they don’t get dry… especially now when the cold weather is around the corner.
Too Faced Just Peachy Mattes : If you guys have been reading my blog for a while… you know I’m not a big Too Faced fan when it comes to their eyeshadows. You know I pretty much have a hate hate relationship with them. What can I say, I’m picky when it comes to my shadows and I know what I like and expect from them. Usually, Too Faced falls short when it comes to their shadows and what I like… but this one? This one right here? They did good! I am very impressed with this palette. I don’t know if they changed the formula with this one… but it’s bomb! Love it! I hope Too Faced will continue to make eyeshadow palettes I actually like and that perform well for me.
Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer Powder : This highlighter is not only stunning on the outside… but it works nicely too. It’s more on the subtle side and not so much an insane blind you in the eyes highlight. (the ones I’m more a fan of) it’s still a very noticeable highlight and very pretty at that. This is in the shade 002 Pink Glow.
Pixi Rose Water Makeup Fixing Mist : This smells amazing! A beautiful rose scent and works so well. I’m almost out of this & have to remember to add it to my Target list to pick up another one so I don’t run out. I use this almost daily and love it.
I think that’s it… everything I’ve been loving for the month of October. Do you see any favs? What are some favorites you love? Let me know, I’d love to hear them.
Thanks for reading! 🙂

The Prism palette really reminds me of a more sparkly version of the Subculture! The colour scheme is so similar! It’s nice that you have option in that colour scheme between matte and shimmer! XD

It definitely does look similar! I really do love them both, with maybe Subculture winning out more so than Prism. Both are great palettes, in my opinion. ☺️

I also adore that Dior highlighter!! I haven’t tried the Peachy Mattes but I’ve been satisfied with the few things i’ve tried from that collection, sounds like it’s quite well rounded since the shadows are nice as well!
