Every time I do one of these posts, I always feel like I’m leaving something out. I most likely am forgetting some things that I’ve been loving. That’s just how it goes with me… Anyway, can’t believe it’s already another new month – and November at that! Hello, holidays that are lurking around the corner. I also can’t believe how long it’s been since I did a monthly favorites post. My bad. Continue reading
I am late to the game when it comes to this palette. If I’m being honest, I was going to pass this palette up when it first came out. I loved the shades in this palette… however, I didn’t think they were my kind of shades. I was unsure if I would get a lot of use out of this palette, so I decided to skip it.
Fast forward to all the drama that started to surround this palette. Yikes! I watched a lot of youtube videos, (mostly negative) reviews… it seemed like no one liked this palette, found it hard to work with, hard to blend, the kick up was insane, fallout was terrible, the shades oxidized, you name it. The way this palette was being talked about, you’d think they were talking about a cheap drugstore brand palette.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen the pics of my October nails. In any case, I didn’t go with a Halloween theme this year. I wanted black glitter, but something fun and still cute, not scary. (Although, I do love Halloween themed nails and have done a few in the past)
It’s been a bit since I did a candle review. I haven’t been purchasing as many candles as I used to. I’m just very disappointed in the candles that Bath & Body Works has been putting out. I am so UNDERWHELMED this year by their fall and upcoming winter scents.
You guys! Fall and winter candles from Bath & Body Works are my life!! Okay. Not really. However, I do look forward to them and tend to go a bit crazy purchasing them. Not. So. Much. This. Year. *sigh* Then, throw in the fact of the price increase of these candles (that, in my opinion, are so not worth it for the amount of product you get)… and it’s all very disheartening. The other day, L’oreal sent over a package of some of their products for me to try out. I own a couple of their lipsticks, but other than that I don’t own much. I am very excited to try out these products! I would just like to thank L’oreal so much for the kind gift and opportunity to give these a try. Continue reading
Anastasia Beverly Hills released their matte lipsticks at the end of July, I believe. They’re a smooth, ultra matte finish, with 30 shades to choose from in this collection. They retail for $18 each and can be purchased at Ulta, Sephora, and online at ABH website.
I’ve been eyeing these since they were first released. I’m more into liquid lipstick, but do love a good ole’ regular lipstick every now and then. I’m a lipstick junkie, so really, I love them all! 🙂
I am totally late on the Huda Beauty train. For some time now, I have been eying her products. Finally, finally, I decided to buy this limited edition highlighter palette. I was seeing gorgeous pictures of it everywhere! I wasn’t sure when it was going to be discontinued, so I went to one of my Sephora stores and grabbed it.
